The program

One program, four ways to follow it

Every HELIXAFE test reads acquired changes across more than 50 tumor suppressor genes and follows them over time. What changes is who it is for, and which specialist reads it with you.

HELIXPAN, the full panel

For adults who already do every screening recommended for their age and want one more reading: molecular, repeated, followed for life like blood pressure or cholesterol. HELIXPAN is the complete reading of the program, the reference and then the direction. It complements age screenings; it never replaces them.

HELIXGUT, the digestive field

For people living with a known digestive condition who feel “apparently healthy” between checks: reflux and Barrett’s oesophagus, removed polyps, pancreatic cysts, fatty liver, a past H. pylori infection. HELIXGUT follows the same reading between one colonoscopy and the next, and your gastroenterologist reads it alongside everything else they know about you.

HELIXLUNG, after lung cancer

For people treated for lung cancer and in follow-up, who want to see what is changing between one scan and the next. HELIXLUNG does not replace your scans or your oncology appointments: it adds a trend your oncologist can read alongside them.

HELIXGYN, after breast or ovarian cancer

For women treated for breast or ovarian cancer who live with the fear of its return and want to follow what is building between checks. HELIXGYN complements your mammograms and your follow-up with the reading of acquired changes over time. It is not a BRCA or hereditary test.

What every test has in common

  • A physician reviews your health information and confirms whether the test is right for you.
  • A nurse draws the blood sample at your home; the analysis is done in our laboratory in Boston, Massachusetts.
  • Your first test establishes your reference. The tests that follow show whether the changes hold steady, build, or build faster.
  • Your physician decides when you test again and what, if anything, happens next.
